Introduction
Welcome to the product documentation for Linc Advanced Logistics, an extension app built for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, by Linc Communications (Pty) Ltd.
This extension contains modifications to the standard solution to enable tracking of logistics and logistics containers for various documents in Business Central.
Logistics containers, such as shipping container (or for other modes of transport) can be created and linked to various transactions/documents in Business Central.
Documents/transactions where logistics containers can be linked:
- Sales Orders
- Sales Invoices
- Purchase Orders
- Purchase Invoices
- Transfer Orders
The container information related to the above documents are carried through to the posted document versions of these transactions.
In addition to the obvious industry standard fields required to identify containers, up to twenty custom/user fields can be specified to be carried on containers - these too are available in the report datasets related to the above documents.
