Introduction

Welcome to the product documentation for Linc Advanced Pricing, an extension app built for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, by Linc Communications (Pty) Ltd.

This extension contains modifications to the standard solution to enable automatic calculation of Sales Prices based on different Profit Calculation configurations in Business Central.

This basic Retail extension allows you to create different Sales Price Lists to calculate retail, special or bulk prices, linked to various Profit Percentage parameters. Create Purchase documents from the related Sales document based on the best Vendor Price.

Profit percentage parameters include:

• Profit Percent
  • Specify the Profit %
• Profit Calculation Basis
  • Last Direct Cost
  • Unit Cost
  • Standard Cost
  • Purchase Price List
• Profit Calculation Basis Factor
  • Min Price
  • Max Price
• Rounding Factor
  • Specify the rounding of Sales Prices
• Grace Period
  • Sales Price validity based on Purchase Price End date

The Sales and Purchase prices are carried through to the Sales and Purchase documents.

In addition, security enhancements are in place to prevent a Sales or Purchase transaction when the Sales or Purchase price does not exist or have expired.
