Introduction

Welcome to the product documentation for Linc Advanced Intercompany, an extension app built for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, by Linc Communications (Pty) Ltd.

This extension enhances the standard intercompany functionality by adding item tracking support for intercompany transactions. The extension allows serial and lot number tracking to flow between companies during intercompany sales/purchase operations.

Key Features

• Captures item tracking (lot/serial numbers) from sales invoices and stores them in custom IC outbox tracking tables
• Transfers tracking information to the receiving company's IC inbox during intercompany transactions
• Maintains tracking data through the complete intercompany flow (outbox → inbox → handled states)
• Creates purchase reservations based on received tracking specifications
• Adds item tracking line actions to IC outbox/inbox pages for viewing tracking details
• Setup to retain the IC Journal Document No.
• Additional IC Partner setup to nominate a Destination Partner if multiple partners & Vendors / Customers combinations are specified per company.
• Create and post a IC General Journal to an IC partner's Customer, Vendor or Bank Account.
