Introduction

Welcome to the product documentation for Linc Micros Integration, an extension app built for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, by Linc Communications (Pty) Ltd.

This extension contains modifications to the standard solution to import transactions from Micros.

What This Extension Does

The extension connects Business Central to Oracle Micros BI APIs and imports guest check transaction data into the Linc Third Party Transactions process.

Core capabilities include:

• Manual authentication flow (Authorize, Sign In, OAuth Token) for BI API access.
• Retrieval of guest checks and related dimensions.
• Import of detail lines into third-party transaction records.
• Optional duplicate document filtering.
• Optional document prefixing for imported Document No. values.

Data Flow Summary

1. Authenticate against the Micros authorization server.
2. Request guest check data for the configured business date and location.
3. Transform detail lines into Business Central transaction lines.
4. Persist records and update the last imported transaction date.

Configuration Overview

Typical setup requires:

• Authorization server URL
• Application server URL
• Client ID
• Username and password
• Organization identifier
• Location reference
• Last transaction date

If a document number prefix is configured, imported Document No. values are stored as PREFIX-Number while Ext. Document No. remains the original check number.
